Start your trip with the optional hot air balloon excursion (see below). Otherwise, we depart Windsor in the morning via luxury van. Our first stop is an ancient redwood preserve where we hike the cool, often fog-shrouded forest. Visit the oldest tree in the park, estimated to be over 1400 years old. Lunch will be on your own in downtown Guerneville, a rustic yet cultured town in the Russian River Valley. Spend the afternoon shopping or relaxing on the beach next to the river. A short drive brings us to Bodega Bay Lodge where we check in to our rooms. Dinner tonight is included and will be at Drake’s Sonoma Coast at our Lodge.
